SNOWDONIA FRAMING COURSES ‘’Not Harder But Smarter’’ We needed to know framing, We knew not where to go, And so we surfed the internet exploring high and low, The gods they shone upon us when Snowdonia appeared on the screen, Camellia Lodge to be exact, in a setting lush and green. We needed to contact Alastair, We e-mailed there and then, His response came almost instantly, He asked us who? where? when? So off we went to Snowdonia, via Cardiff for the crack, By the time we arrived at Betws-y-Coed, we were running out of track. The welcome from Alastair and Moya was warm and so sincere, We are happy with our decision to learn our framing skills here. We now know the wonders of the Morso, the thrills of cutting glass, The exhilaration of cutting mounts,’tho Mavis was top of the class.
Dear Alastair was patient, but his nerves were wearing thin, As most of his practice glass was landing in the bin, Make it too big and you are safe enough is the chorous of the song If its too short it can’t be fixed, it can if its too long. And Moya you fed us far too well, You made it hard for us to say No, We know that our flights are booked for home, But do we really have to go??

The one to one tuition with somebody like Alastair, so professional, skillful and precise has been invaluable. You have covered and made me practise most technical aspects of picture framing using materials in an effective way in order to reduce wastage. This in a small business is essential! I appreciated that you covered the business side of picture framing with good ideas and advice.
