I was looking out for a way of earning some extra money to supplement my early retirement when I discovered that the local community was lacking a picture framer

I decided I would investigate this venture.

I approached the local Picture Gallery who were very interested

but suggested that I should attend a Picture Framing School .

I went ahead with this proposal because I thought it would give me a good

insight into this new venture, which it certainly did.

At this Picture Framing Course I learnt the basic techniques which were necessary to become a Professional Picture Framer as well as the picture framing tools & picture framing equipment which would be required.

I duly set up a Picture Framing Workshop at my home & gradually built up a successful business.

Many years later I looked back on the Picture Framing Course that I attended
and thought my framing experience & our Guest House business could be utilised
to offer Picture Framing Courses on a much more personal level.

Not only could good accommodation & food be offered in beautiful surroundings but one to one training given tailor made to suit the individual.

In addition independent advice could be given on what Picture Framing Equipment
& Picture Framing Tools would be necessary together with advice on what
Picture Framing Supplies would be required & where to obtain them.

Hence in 2001 snowdonia-framing-courses.co.uk was born.
